Store Policies


Accepted Methods of Payment. We accept Paypal, Visa and Mastercard.

Order Cancellations. Order cancellations must be received within 24 hours of original order placement.  Once an order has been shipped you can either refuse the shipment and the item/s will be returned to our warehouse.  Upon confirmation of return we will refund your money less a 25% restocking/admin fee and all original shipping costs.  Or you can receive the order and return it once you have received a proper RA number and you will be responsible for all return shipping costs.  This will also result in a reduction to the refund by the 25% restocking fee and the original shipping costs.

 


Ship To Locations. We currently ship all products to the continental US.  Certain products will ship Worldwide, this is based on the manufacturers policies.  To determine if a particular product is available for Worldwide shipment check the product number.  Product numbers beginning with either the letters US or D are only available for shipment within the continental US and all others are available to customers Worldwide. 


Shipping Time. The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending on the shipment's location and the particular time of year. Order processing may take between 2-5 business days depending on time of year and which warehouse a product is coming from and shipping times during peak season are usually 3-12 business days (you don't count weekends) within the continental US. That means an order placed on the 1st will likely arrive before the 20th. International orders will take longer with an average expectancy of 12-20 business days.


Shipping Methods. We utilize UPS and USPS for most deliveries, and will on occasion utilize FedEx, Canada Post or DHL depending on the circumstances.  We reserve the right to select the final method of shipping.  Shipping costs are calculated using the UPS calculator which is the lower cost method but we may ship by USPS to help minimize duties and customs costs for Canadian shipments.

We do not ship COD and cannot mail to P.O. Boxes. A physical street address will be required for delivery. We do not ship to APO addresses.

Unless otherwise stated, all products DO NOT include shipping costs. Shipping costs are calculated on the Shopping Cart page.


Shipping Costs. To find out the total cost of your order, simply add the product(s) you would like to purchase to your Shopping Cart, complete the bill to and ship to information and select continue.  You can then view your Shopping Cart to get the total cost of your order, including the cost of the shipping.  Please ensure that you correctly enter in your shipping location to enable the UPS shipping wizard to correctly calculate the shipping charges.  Also if shipping outside of North America you should select UPS Worldwide as a shipping method.  If any incorrect information is entered or shipping costs are incorrectly calculated we will contact you via e-mail to notify you of any changes in the shipping costs.  For shipping outside of North America there are other shipping methods we may be able to use which will reduce the cost of shipping so please contact us directly for shipping estimates.  There is an administrative fee of $2.50 added to all orders for packaging costs etc.


Shipping Disclaimer. Even though we are a Canadian company all of our manufacturers are located in the Continental US and all products are shipped from the United States.  All shipping charges are based on the weight and dimensions of each item. Additional charges may apply for duties and customs if shipping outside of the US, these charges will be COD. 

Even with our best efforts, we cannot guarantee when your merchandise will arrive, or that it will arrive quickly. Also, sometimes merchandise is out of stock, and when we go to re-stock, we find that the manufacturer has discontinued the merchandise. When that happens, we will try to promptly email you so that you have options such as purchasing an alternate item, canceling the order and receiving a refund, or canceling the order and receiving in-store credit.

All of our products come from several different manufactures so if you are ordering more then one item they may arrive separately since they are coming from different warehouses.

Customers assume the responsibility for knowing what can be legally imported into his/her country, any order that happens to be seized by customs and we are unable to retrieve is the responsibility of the person ordering the product, Edges of Reality will not reimburse for the cost of the order or shipping.

If you refuse a delivery and it is returned to our warehouse we will only refund the original cost of the item less a 25% restocking fee and the original shipping costs once we have confirmation of receipt and if the item is returned in it's original condition.

 Knife laws vary. Please check with your local law enforcement agency for the laws in your area.

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase any item from this site even if the item is not a weapon. Some laws may require that you be at least 21 years of age to receive the item. Knowledge of local, state/provincial, federal and international laws and/or statutes is the responsibility of the buyer. By purchasing any item sold by Edges of Reality, the buyer expressly warrants that he/she is in compliance with all applicable Federal, State/Provincial, and Local laws and regulations regarding the purchase, ownership, and use of the item. It shall be the buyer's responsibility to comply with all Federal, State/Provincial and Local laws governing the sale of any items listed, illustrated, or sold. The buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Edges of Reality for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership, or use of the item in violation of applicable Federal, State/Provincial, and Local laws or regulations.


Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.


Manufacturers Defects. If a product appears to have a manufacture’s defect, email our Customer Service department at support@edgesofreality.com within 3 days of receipt of your product for instructions. Do not return products to us without first emailing us to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.


Return Merchandise Policy. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. You have 3 days from the date your product is delivered to receive return authorization. You must email the return request to returns@edgesofreality.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field), at which time a return authorization number (RA#) with return instructions will be sent to you. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Products being returned must have a RA# issued before being returned.
 
Non-damaged merchandise may be returned but will have a 25% re-stocking fee applied to the products refund.  The re-stocking fee also applies to packages refused by the end buyer.

If you received a different product than initially purchased, the item must be returned with the following:

·  All original contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc.).

·  Original packaging.

·  Original invoice or receipt.


Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:

  1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
  2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
  3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.

We will refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. If a shipment is refused upon delivery to your location we will not refund the original shipping cost and there will be a 25% restocking fee deducted from the original cost of the item/s.  We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
